Tire Changers
A tire changer clamps the wheel and uses a mount head and bead breaker to remove and install the tire. Tire shops, general repair shops, and fleet garages use them every day. Rim clamp models handle most passenger work, while leverless and center clamp machines protect expensive alloy wheels and make run flat and low profile tires far easier. Truck and fleet shops may need a heavy duty changer for commercial wheels. Compare the wheel diameter range, bead assist arms, and inflation systems. A well maintained used changer can serve a lighter volume shop, but check the clamps and turntable for wear.
